Joy is an Avant Garde Irish Artist, at the age of sixteen she studied Graphic Art and Design, she then proceeded to Scenery painting for photographic Studios.
Joy has led a wild and colourful life , this reflects very much in her Artwork, some paintings being calm and relaxed and some intense !!
In her Adult years Joy returned to Ireland, the country of her forefathers , a country with wide open spaces and wonderful light for Artists, she has gained so much inspiration from the powerful sunsets of the West and has developed an Avant Garde style of Art that is catergorematic , akin to her wild imagination and makes joy unique as an Artist.. Joy calls her Studio The Wardrobe as in the book! As it is where she allows her imagination to run free !!
